BT25-4

It is a fully automatic electronic light dimmer equipped with variable fading lights.
It is powered by 12 VAC via the supplied 220–12V 20VA transformer; it has 4 outputs of 25W each, operating with fading, which are used to simulate the phases of the day (for example, DAWN, DAY, SUNSET, and NIGHT, or other scenes at the user's discretion).

The four outputs are provided with four two-wire cables (each approximately one meter long), to which the user will connect the various groups of miniature bulbs or pea bulbs.

The time the lights remain on can be adjusted individually using convenient external knobs located on the front of the dimmer, from a minimum of 30 seconds to a maximum of approximately three minutes. The fade adjustment (rise and fall) is preset to an average value.

The load must be exclusively resistive (lamps).

When power is supplied via the transformer, the lights connected to the NIGHT phase (first fading output) turn on instantly.
After a few seconds, the cycle begins with the gradual dimming of the light connected to NIGHT and the switching on of the light connected to the DAWN phase; the cycle then continues with the DAY and SUNSET phases before repeating.

By connecting a certain number of miniature bulbs or pea bulbs to the dimming outputs (maximum 25 W for each output—about 15 pea bulbs) and placing them appropriately inside the nativity scene, it is possible to simulate the succession of the various time phases of the day; it will be up to the nativity scene maker to choose suitable bulbs, colored or otherwise, and verify the effect that can be achieved with them.
