BT25-2

It is an electronic light dimmer featuring fully automatic variable lights with fade effects.
It is powered by 12 VAC through a supplied 220–12 V, 20 VA transformer; it has 2 outputs of 25 W each, operating with fade effects, which are used to simulate the phases of the day (for example, NIGHT and DAY, or other scenes at the user's discretion).

The two outputs are provided with two bipolar cables (each approximately one meter long), to which the user will connect the various groups of miniature bulbs or pea bulbs.

The time the lights remain on can be adjusted individually using convenient external knobs located on the front of the dimmer, from a minimum of 30 seconds to a maximum of approximately three minutes. The fade adjustment (fade-in and fade-out) is preset to an average value.

The load must be exclusively resistive (lamps).

When power is supplied through the transformer, the lights connected to the NIGHT phase (first fading output) turn on instantly.
After a few seconds, the cycle begins with the gradual dimming of the light connected to NIGHT and the switching on of the light connected to the DAY phase; the cycle then repeats.

By connecting a certain number of miniature bulbs or pea bulbs to the fading outputs (maximum 25 W for each output—approximately 15 pea bulbs) and placing them appropriately inside the nativity scene, it is possible to simulate the succession of the various phases of the day; it will be up to the nativity scene maker to choose the appropriate bulbs, colored or otherwise, and verify the effect that can be obtained from them.
