MCS/CC Motor Control System Continuous Cycle
TheMCS/CC (Continuous Cycle Motor Control System) is an electronic control unit designed to precisely and reliably automate mechanical movements within the nativity scene, such as the opening and closing of doors, windows, trapdoors, and other moving scenic elements.
The device controls a 12V DC motor (not included), managing its operation through dedicated software. During the programming phase, the outward movement is stored and subsequently reproduced in reverse during the return, allowing the motor to accurately return to its initial position. This feature makes it possible to create smooth, realistic, and perfectly repeatable movements.
The movement speed can be adjusted using a dedicated trimmer, which makes it possible to reduce the output voltage and therefore the motor's RPM, adapting the animation to the needs of the nativity scene.
The Continuous Cycle (CC) it is particularly suitable for display nativity scenes and long-term installations: once the movement has been programmed, the system performs it without interruption, automatically repeating the cycle endlessly and ensuring constant animation throughout the exhibition.
The MCS/CC is compatible with low-current motors (less than 60 mA), such as those identified in our catalog by the codes MCC and MECC (see also related products below).

Difference between MCS and MCS/CC
MCS: The device performs the programmed cycle, then stops. It restarts only with a new electrical pulse. It is therefore perfect for settings managed by control units or timers.
MCS/CC (CONTINUOUS CYCLE): The device continuously runs the programmed cycle. Once the cycle is completed, it automatically starts again.
