12 VOLT SYNCHRONIZED FADE SOCKET
FADE EXPANSION MODULE

12-volt fade socket usable with any LED controller. It is essentially a power expansion module for LED controllers. Extremely useful in all situations where the power of the fade effect in use needs to be increased. It can deliver 30 watts of power and can also be used in combination with other modules. It features a DC 2.5 cable for connection to a 12-volt power supply and a DC 2.1 cable for synchronization connection. Power can be supplied individually to each module or to multiple interconnected modules via a single high-power power supply.

Examples of use:
increasing power on controllers with 2.1 mm low-current fade outputs
increasing power on any controller with 2.5 mm outputs
increasing power with multiple connections until the required power level is reached.

SYD12 must be powered by 12 V DC by connecting the 2.5 plug in parallel with the power supply of the controller in use.
If the available power is insufficient, it will be necessary to replace the supplied power supply with one of greater power.

Connections:

2.5 mm plug = Short cable (30 cm): to the 12V DC power supply
2.1 mm plug = Long cable (200 cm): to the control unit phase in which the socket must be activated (if the output is 2.5 mm, it will be necessary to use a PWM1, PWM2, or PWM3 multi-socket).
