Buonpastore - 923 - Fontanini Statue 9.5 cm

The Fontanini Good Shepherd, model 923, is one of the most symbolic and meaningful figures in the entire nativity scene tradition. It depicts the shepherd caring for his flock with attention and dedication, an image that evokes the themes of guidance, protection, and loving presence.

The scene is rendered with great naturalness: the character’s posture and the presence of the sheep convey a sense of balance and serenity. Every detail, from the facial features to the folds of the clothing, is enhanced by Fontanini’s distinctive craftsmanship, while the hand-applied coloring gives depth and realism to the entire composition.

Thanks to its height of 9.8 cm, this figurine integrates perfectly with the other figures in the same series, making it ideal for enriching pastoral settings or for placement near the stable, where the theme of care and protection symbolically connects with the Nativity.

Crafted from durable materials and finished with great care, the Good Shepherd is designed to stand the test of time, preserving the aesthetic quality that distinguishes Fontanini creations and offering the nativity scene an element rich in meaning and harmony.
