Sleeping Shepherd - 914 - Fontanini Statue 9.5 cm

The Sleeping Shepherd Fontanini model 914represents one of the most delicate and realistic moments of pastoral life: a moment of rest while life continues around him. The figure, reclining in a relaxed position, conveys a sense of calm and simplicity, helping to make the nativity scene more human and natural.

This figurine stands out for its ability to portray an everyday scene without action, yet rich in meaning. The carefully finished details and hand-painted finish enhance the character’s soft forms, the fabrics of the clothing, and the serene expression on the face, typical of Fontanini creations.

With a height of 9.7 cm (width of the base with the reclining figure), the Sleeping Shepherd fits perfectly into compositions of the same scale, making it ideal for bringing to life areas of the nativity scene dedicated to shepherds, along the edges of the village, or near the Nativity path.

Made with quality materials and designed to last over time, this figurine adds narrative depth to the scene, enriching the nativity display with a touch of realism and contemplation typical of the Fontanini tradition.
